Taf's GTA IV Mini Tourney

Ok, here's the finalized format for the mini tournament. Dates for races will be posted upcoming in Stratcom.

Race Circuit
So people will get used the the race tracks, we'll use the same circuit but different cars for each race day. I currently have penciled in 3 races, with 2 optional pending time.

Track 1: Random
Track 2: Exhaust Fumes
Track 3: Stars in your eyes
Track 4 (optional): Free Race (Random)
Track 5 (optional): Cannon Ball Run (Random)

Race Days
Day 1: Sports Cars & Super Cars
Day 2: Bikes
Day 3: Service Vehicles & Trucks
Day 4: Police & Emergency Vehicles

Playoffs
Format to be announced.

Tourney Format:
Regular Season. Pedal to the metal race days. Your object is to either get to the finish first or crash, smash, shoot, and/or blow up others trying to get there.
Playoffs. Top 10 players for regular season in sudden death elimination races. After each race, bottom 3 guys get cut off the list until there's only 4 racers left. At that point it's the final heat for gold, silver, bronze, and almost-there
Grudge Match (optional). 1st and 2nd place winners become team captains and get to pick a grudge match team from all racers. Instead of a race this time, it's a team deathmatch. To make it a fair grudge match, we'll give the 2nd place guy all the advantages. Get's first 2 picks of players, picks the game, etc.

Rules
Placing is based upon $$. The person with the highest $$ at the end of the race get's first place.
If there is a tie for a position, then both racers get the point and the next position is eliminated (i.e. 1st, 1st, (no 2nd), 3rd).
Regular season is a sum of points.
Unless otherwise stated in stratcom, if you lose or destroy your vehicle, you may obtain any other you can find. The exception to this rule is on Bikes day. In this case you can only trade your bike for another 2 wheel vehicle or a vehicle with 6+ wheels .

Scoring
1st Place - 10 points.
2nd Place - 8 points
3rd Place - 6 points
4th Place - 4 points
5th Place - 2 points
> $0 at end of race = 1 point
$0 at end of race = 0 points

Newbie Tips
Pick up Health. If you drive over a health pack in a race, it regenerates your car's health to full.
Hold square button to drop a gun you don't like so that you can pick up a new one

1 Volunteer needed
I thought I had a second digital camera but unfortunately I don't. Could I please request that someone volunteers to take a screenshot at the end of each race to record positions? If a couple racers would be willing please send me a quick PM.
